Bees

A man was driving down the road and ran out of gas. Just at that moment, a bee flew in his window.

The bee said, 'What seems to be the problem?'

'I'm out of gas,' the man replied.

The bee told the man to wait right there and flew away. Minutes later, the man watched as an entire swarm of bees flew to his car and into his gas tank. After a few minutes, the bees flew out.

'Try it now,' said one bee.

The man turned the ignition key and the car started right up. 'Wow!' the man exclaimed, 'what did you put in my gas tank'?

The bee answered,

Wait for it.wait for it..

You're just gonna love this..

I see you smiling

Cutting a Spinal Cord as a Punishment

That they even looked into the feasibility of carrying out the procedure is shocking

High court rejects cutting man's spinal cord

DUBAI - A Saudi high court has rejected a request to cut the spinal cord of a man as punishment for paralysing another man amid international outcry, the Saudi Gazette reported on Monday.

The High Court in Tabuk province ruled the victim should accept payment of blood money as allowed under sharia law, the newspaper said.

The court rejected the request after writing to hospitals to see if the punishment is medically possible, the Gazette said, adding that hospitals said it was not possible on medical and ethical grounds.

“The court verdict was based on a medical report the court received from King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh saying it is impossible to conduct such an operation,” a source was quoted as saying.

The victim, Abdul Aziz al-Mutairi, 22, was left paralysed after a fight in which he was struck with a cleaver, and is demanding his attacker suffer the same fate.

The fight took place two years ago, but the trial has been delayed due to the victim’s request that the attacker have his spinal cord cut.

Mutairi has objected to the high court verdict and will take his case to the appeals court, the newspaper said.

The case has drawn international attention due to the gruesome nature of the victim’s request and that a court was actually considering handing down such a punishment.

Amnesty International on Friday urged Saudi authorities not to paralyse the man, saying it “amounts to nothing less than torture”.

We all know that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in August 1945 after explosion of atomic bombs.
